Booking & Reservations
How It All Works
Text Tommy at 360-984-7826 with your event date, what you'd like to rent, and your general location. He'll confirm availability and get everything set up from there. No forms, no automated system — just a quick text back from a real person.
As soon as you know your date — especially for summer weekends and graduation season (May–June), which fill up fast. A week or two ahead is ideal, but Tommy will always do his best to accommodate last-minute requests if the date is open. Don't assume it'll be available — text to check.
Just three things to start: your event date, what you want to rent, and your address or general area (so Tommy can confirm you're in the service area). Everything else gets worked out from there.
Tommy's serves within roughly 5 miles of Ridgefield, WA — including Ridgefield, Woodland, La Center, Battle Ground, and North Vancouver. Not sure if you're in range? Text the address and he'll let you know. He'll always try to make it work.
All rentals are 4 hours minimum. Need more time? Additional hours are $5 per item per hour. Just let Tommy know when you book and he'll factor it in. Multi-day rates are also available — ask when you reach out.
Deposits & Payment
Holding Your Date
Yes. A deposit is required to hold your date — without it, the date stays open for others. The deposit amount will be confirmed when you book and depends on what you're renting. It goes toward your total balance, so it's not an extra charge — just your commitment that you're serious about the date.
Your date is not reserved until the deposit is received. Tommy will not turn away other bookings for an unconfirmed date.
The deposit is typically $25–$50 depending on what you're renting, and it goes toward your total — so you're not paying extra, just paying part of it upfront. The remaining balance is due on the day of your event before equipment is set up. Tommy will confirm the exact deposit amount when you book.
Payment is via Venmo (@TommysPartyRentals). The deposit is sent when you confirm your booking, and the remaining balance is paid on the day of your event — before Tommy sets up. Cash is also accepted on the day of the event if preferred.
Always include your event date and what you rented in the Venmo payment note. This keeps things clear and avoids any confusion.
Life happens — Tommy gets it. Here's how it works:
Cancellations with 7+ days notice: Your deposit is fully refunded, no questions asked.
Cancellations with 3–6 days notice: 50% of your deposit is refunded. The rest compensates for holding the date and turning away other bookings.
Cancellations within 48 hours: The deposit is non-refundable. At that point, supplies may have been purchased and the date can't realistically be rebooked.
Cancellations with 7+ days notice: Your deposit is fully refunded, no questions asked.
Cancellations with 3–6 days notice: 50% of your deposit is refunded. The rest compensates for holding the date and turning away other bookings.

If your event is rained out or something truly unexpected happens, reach out — Tommy will always try to reschedule rather than keep your money.
Not currently — Tommy runs on trust and keeps things simple for now. However, renters are responsible for any damage to equipment beyond normal wear and tear during the rental period. If something gets broken or damaged, Tommy will reach out to discuss repair or replacement costs fairly. See the damage section below for details.
Delivery & Setup
What to Expect on Event Day
Yes — that's the whole point. Tommy personally delivers, sets everything up, and returns to pick it all back up when your rental period ends. You don't lift a finger. Just tell him where to set up and he takes care of the rest.
Tommy will coordinate a specific delivery window with you when you book. He'll arrive before your event start time so everything is ready to go when guests arrive. He'll also confirm a pickup time that works after your event ends.
Just a clear, accessible space for the equipment and someone available to let Tommy in if needed. For the popcorn or cotton candy machines, a standard outdoor extension cord and nearby outlet is helpful — Tommy will confirm specifics when you book. For lawn games, any flat yard or patio works great.
Just let Tommy know ahead of time if you think you'll need extra time. Additional hours are $5 per item per hour. If things run over without notice, Tommy will do his best to be flexible — but he may have other pickups or plans, so communicating early is always appreciated.
The Rentals
About the Equipment
Yes — the popcorn machine rental includes popcorn supplies for the rental period. The supplies includes the starter kit which is kernels, oil, bags for 10-15 people. If you're expecting a very large crowd or a longer event, additional items (like flavoring) just mention it when you book and Tommy can plan accordingly.
Currently available in: Pink Vanilla, Blue Raspberry, Watermelon, Pina Colada, and Lime. Rental price includes one flavor that serves about 8 people and 10 paper cones. Additional sugar and cones are available.
Absolutely — and it's actually the best way to go. Party Packs bundle multiple items at a discounted rate, so you save money and get more variety. Check out the pricing page for bundle options, or just text Tommy to put together something custom.
Yes — all the lawn games (Giant Jenga, Giant Kerplunk, Cornhole, Jumbo Yahtzee, Granny Panties) are designed to be played by all ages. That said, younger kids should always play with adult supervision, especially with the larger pieces. Tommy will make sure everything is set up safely and securely before he leaves.
Yes — both the popcorn machine and the cotton candy machine require a standard 120V outlet (regular household outlet). A nearby outdoor outlet or an outdoor-rated extension cord works great. If you're unsure about your setup, just mention it when you book and Tommy will help figure it out.
Damage & Cancellations
The Fine Print (Kept Simple)
Accidents happen and Tommy understands that. Normal wear and tear is expected and not something you'll be charged for. However, if equipment is damaged due to misuse, neglect, or rough handling, the renter is responsible for repair or replacement costs. Tommy will always communicate openly and fairly — he's not trying to nickel-and-dime anyone, but he does need to keep his equipment in good shape to stay in business.
Please treat the equipment like you borrowed it from a neighbor — because in a lot of ways, you did.
Text Tommy as early as possible. He'll work with you to reschedule to another available date at no additional cost. The machines should not be used in heavy rain, and lawn games are best on dry ground. If you move your event inside or under a covered space, most of the lawn games can still work — just let him know.
Tommy takes his commitments seriously — if you're booked, he shows up. In the very rare event that something completely out of his control prevents delivery (illness, emergency), you will receive a full refund of your deposit immediately and Tommy will do everything possible to make it right, including helping find an alternative.
Text Tommy as soon as you know. Date changes are handled case by case depending on availability, but he'll always try to make it work. Your deposit transfers to the new date as long as there's reasonable notice (at least 72 hours). Last-minute date changes may not be possible if the new date is already booked.

Local Business Rentals
Yes — and businesses are some of Tommy's best customers. Local Ridgefield businesses already use the popcorn machine for sidewalk sales, grand openings, and customer appreciation events. A concession machine out front draws foot traffic in a way a sign never will. Text Tommy to talk through what makes sense for your event.

For business events, a responsible adult or staff member should be on-site for the duration of the rental to operate the machines and supervise the equipment. Tommy will set everything up and show you how it works before he leaves. He's also reachable by text during the event if anything comes up.
